Capacity-Building Program for NAMYO National Chapters

On 1–2 October, the Capacity-Building Program for NAMYO National Chapters began with a series of training sessions aimed at strengthening participants’ skills and capacities.

The first session on public speaking focused on enhancing participants’ confidence, clarity, and overall effectiveness in public communication. Through practical techniques, attendees were guided in developing a more impactful and poised speaking style. The session covered key aspects such as articulating ideas clearly, managing nervousness, and connecting with diverse audiences, equipping participants to engage listeners with greater authenticity and influence.

The next training session within the Capacity-Building Program was dedicated to project management. Tailored to local initiatives aligned with broader organizational goals, the session emphasized strengthening core project management skills, including planning, coordination, and execution. Participants gained practical tools and insights to lead projects more effectively and contribute to sustainable outcomes within their communities.

Day 1 of the Capacity-Building Program concluded with a visit to Içərişəhər, the Old City of Baku. As a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Içərişəhər provided participants with the opportunity to explore its historic streets and cultural landmarks.

The second day of the Capacity-Building Program for NAMYO National Chapters began with the Secretariat presentations. The Head of the Secretariat, Ms. Ayan Mukhtarli, introduced the core departments and fundamental values of the Non-Aligned Movement Youth Organization. Following this, each department presented its scope of work, achievements, and future plans, offering National Chapter Representatives and Board Members a comprehensive overview of NAMYO’s mission and organizational structure.
