Meeting with Mr. Matin Karimli

NAMYO hosted a high-level meeting at its headquarters, welcoming Mr. Matin Karimli, Chief of Staff of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan, for an engaging dialogue with NAMYO members on the future of the labor market in the age of artificial intelligence (AI).


The event opened with remarks by Ms. Nazrin Gasimova, Manager on Work with National

Chapters, who expressed the importance of collaboration between public institutions and young professionals in navigating the rapid transformations driven by emerging

technologies.


Following the opening, Mr. Karimli spoke on the topic of “AI in the Labour Market: Disruption or

Transformation?”. The session explored how artificial intelligence is reshaping employment

landscapes and creating both challenges and opportunities for the workforce. The participants

explored how skill demands are changing in industries and ways they can actively participate in shaping policy responses.


The session continued with a Q&A session, where NAMYO members engaged directly with the speaker on topics such as human capital development, educational reforms, and the new era's sought-after skills.


The event concluded with a networking session, providing an opportunity for participants to build meaningful connections.
