Info session at Azerbaijan State Pedagogical University

On December 9, the eighth info-session of NAM Youth Organization was held at Azerbaijan State Pedagogical University!

Dr. Fikrat Rzayev, the Vice-rector of Social and Humanitarian Issues at Azerbaijan State Pedagogical University greeted the students and delivered the introductory remarks. Afterward, Ms. Gunel Salimova, the First Secretary of the International Security Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, provided background information about the Non-Aligned Movement and Azerbaijan's distinguished role in the Movement. The event continued with the speech of Ordukhan Gahramanzade, the Designated Chairperson of NAM Youth Organization.

After the opening remarks, a presentation was demonstrated to the students about the Non-Aligned Movement and its principles. The students were informed about NAMYO’s action plan for the upcoming year. Videos from NAMYO’s recent events such as the Model NAM Simulation Conference, NAM Youth Summit, and International Charity Bazar were received by students with great interest.

The session came to an end with a lively Q&A discussion where students addressed their questions about NAMYO’s functions and the networking opportunities it provides for youth.
