Info session at Baku Slavic University

On November 29, the seventh info-session of NAM Youth Organization was held at Baku Slavic University (BSU).

The session commenced with the speech of Khanim Sultanova, the Vice-rector of Educational work at BSU. Then, Asmar Yusifzade, the First Secretary of the International Security Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, addressed the students and emphasized the importance of the exchange of ideas among youth at the initiative of NAMYO. The event continued with the speech of Ordukhan Gahramanzade, the Designated Chairperson of NAM Youth Organization.

After the introductory remarks, Jeyran Jafarova, the Head of NAMYO’s Secretariat, displayed a presentation to the students about the Non-Aligned Movement and its principles. The students were informed about NAMYO’s action plan for 2023. During the session, short videos from NAMYO’s biggest events such as the Model NAM Simulation Conference, NAM Youth Summit, and International Charity Bazaar were demonstrated to the students.

The session came to an end with a lively Q&A discussion where students addressed their questions about NAMYO’s functions and development opportunities for youth.
