NAM Youth Cultural Forum

On 15 november 2022, NAM Youth Organization held the NAM Youth Cultural Forum dedicated to the International Day for Tolerance. With the participation of more than 100 local and international youngsters, the event sought to mark the significance of celebrating this day.

The forum on the topic of “Tolerance and Multiculturalism in NAM Member States” started with remarks by Ms. Gunel Salimova, the First Secretary of the International Security department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan. Following, the Designated Chairperson of NAM Youth Organization, Mr. Ordukhan Gahramanzade, greeted the guests joining locally and virtually. The opening ceremony ended with a speech by Mr. Ramin Habibzade, the Secretary-General of NAYORA.

Next, the video project prepared by the Secretariat in collaboration with National Chapters was demonstrated. Afterward, the representatives from more than ten National Chapters of NAMYO introduced the participants to the unique symbols of their history, and culture. The forum intended to raise awareness among young people about the importance of the principles of tolerance and strengthen the cultural relations among the youth of the NAM Member States.
