NAM Youth Summit 2022

On July 25th, the NAM Youth Summit took off! During the opening ceremony,

H.E. Mr. Farid Gayibov, Minister of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Azerbaijan, delivered the address of H.E. Mr. Ilham Aliyev, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Chair of Non-Aligned Movement, to the Summit participants. Afterwards, Acting Chair of the NAM Youth Network, Mr. Ordukhan Gahramanzade, reported a timeline of the activities carried out by NAM Youth Network since its establishment.

Moreover, the President of the 76th session of the UN General Assembly, Mr. Abdulla Shahid , and the President of ICYF, Mr. Taha Ayhan, highlighted the role of youth's presence and participation in ensuring a sustainable and inclusive future. The participants also got a chance to deliver their national statements.

In the evening, summit participants visited the Gala, where they explored the rich culture of the village.
