The “Summit of Limitless Opportunities” of the Non-Aligned Movement Youth Organization within the framework of the Global Youth Festival in Uzbekistan

The “Summit of Limitless Opportunities” of the Non-Aligned Movement Youth Organization within the framework of the Global Youth Festival took place on June 27 in Samarkand, Uzbekistan!

Uniting youth representatives of numerous NAM Member States, the Summit began with the opening ceremony. In his opening remarks, Mr. Husan Tukhtaev Mirzaevich, the Deputy Mayor of Samarkand city, spoke to the participants regarding the importance of youth engagement. Following, Mr. Ruzibek Turaboev, the Director of the Department of the Ministry of Education of Uzbekistan, delivered a speech greeting the participants. The ceremony concluded with the warm wishes of Ms. Zarina Lukmanova, the CEO of IT school №21, who wished the participants best of luck in the Summit.

After the delivery of national statements, youth actively participated in the sessions, discussing youth’s role in developing societies, accelerating progress for sustainable development and climate action.
