“Impact of illicit exploitation of natural resources on local governance and the role of youth in promoting sustainable peace in the Democratic Republic of Congo.”

In commemoration of the International Day of Multilateralism and Diplomacy in the Service of Peace, our National Chapter in the Democratic Republic of Congo held a thought-provoking conference on April 21, 2025. The theme of the conference was “Impact of illicit exploitation of natural resources on local governance and the role of youth in promoting sustainable peace in the Democratic Republic of Congo.”

This initiative brought together passionate young leaders, peace advocates, and stakeholders to exchange perspectives and reaffirm the youth’s vital role in fostering transparent governance and lasting peace in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
